Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP)
Info Source: Sources of Federal Government and Employee Information provides information about the functions, programs, activities and related information holdings of government institutions subject to the Access to Information Act and the Privacy Act. It provides individuals and employees of the government (current and former) with relevant information to access personal information about themselves held by government institutions subject to the Privacy Act and to exercise their rights under the Privacy Act.
The Access to Information Act governs access to information contained in federal government records. This means that Canadian citizens, permanent residents, persons present in Canada, or corporations can, formally or informally, request records under the control of Canada Infrastructure Bank.
NOTICE: Possible delays in treating your request
Openness, transparency and accountability are guiding principles of the Government of Canada. However, our ability to respond to requests within the timelines mandated by the Access to Information Act and the Privacy Act may be affected by the exceptional measures put in place to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and protect the health and safety of Canadians. Access to information and personal information requests received from the public continue to be important to us. We will continue to make reasonable efforts to respond to requests, in accordance with operational realities. Given the business continuity planning measures implemented by the CIB, we recommend that you communicate with the CIB by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding during this period as we all navigate these unprecedented challenges.

We voluntarily report, through our website, the travel and hospitality expenses for our President and CEO, senior executives and members of the Board of Directors. Expenses are reported by quarter and are reflected in the period during which they are reported in our financial records.
The following disclosure includes business expenses related to travel and hospitality expenses for the following activities: Board of Director-related meetings; stakeholder outreach; and operational activities. Information that would normally be withheld under the Access to Information Act or the Privacy Act does not appear in this section.
