Divya Shah nominated for award through the Women’s Infrastructure Network

Divya Shah, Senior Director of Investments, has been nominated for an award as an Emerging Leader through the Women’s Infrastructure Network (WIN).

The nomination recognizes an exceptional woman who has distinguished herself early in her career in the infrastructure sector and has demonstrated a pattern of leadership. This award recognizes a woman who has showcased herself to be an emerging leader of the infrastructure industry of tomorrow.

Divya joined CIB in June 2018. A CFA who also earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Toronto, Divya previously worked for Infrastructure Ontario, where she structured and negotiated a variety of large and complex P3, commercial and real estate transactions. She also has professional experience with Manulife Financial and CIBC, among others.

She is also a member of the Canada Branch Council of the International Project Finance Association.

With more than 12 years of experience working on projects worth more than $40 billion, she brings to the bank – and to WIN – a unique perspective on the intersection and interaction between the private and public sectors.

The awards ceremony takes place on April 23, 2019.
