This project aims to deliver a passenger train service with more frequency, reduced trip times and improved service reliability.

It will help create a more commercially successful, modern rail service that supports economic development in the most populous part of the country. The new, frequent service is expected to reduce vehicle emissions as passengers will leave their vehicles at home to avoid road congestion.

Our team will collaborate on project due diligence, financial advisory services and help fully develop the proposed project’s scope of work.

High Frequency Rail is part of VIA Rail Canada’s transformation towards a more modern passenger service for a more connected, more sustainable, and more mobile Canada. Consistent growth in ridership since 2014, thanks to our employees’ excellence in operations and service, has created a solid foundation for our proposed High Frequency Rail project. We look forward to working with the Canada Infrastructure Bank in this critical step for improving passenger rail to the benefit of Canadians.
