Special Purpose Reports

Every five years, the Government of Canada is required to conduct a Legislative Review of the CIB’s mandate, status and operations. This report was tabled in Parliament in June 2023. The CIB provided input to this process via a submission that outlines how we work, the results we have achieved and what the future looks like in each of the priority sectors that the government has identified for CIB action. We welcome the report and the opportunity to continue working with stakeholders to advance infrastructure investments to deliver important outcomes for Canadians.

The Minister of Housing, Infrastructure and Communities provides the priorities and expectations for the CIB in the Statement of Priorities and Accountabilities (SPA) to the Board and Chair of Canada Infrastructure Bank.
