Infrastructure Partnerships
The CIB focuses on five sectors: green infrastructure, clean power, public transit, trade and transportation and broadband infrastructure*. We are involved in more than 100 infrastructure partnerships located from coast to coast to coast, in the far North, in small communities and large urban areas. They demonstrate our ambition to advise on, invest in and build knowledge about transformational infrastructure projects across Canada.

Starting in 2024-25, the CIB’s reporting of results is based solely on projects that have reached financial close. Prior reports included projects to which the CIB and its partners had made commitments to a project in accordance with an agreed upon term sheet.
