Legislative Review
Every five years, the Government of Canada is required to conduct a Legislative Review of the CIB’s mandate, status and operations. This report was tabled in Parliament in June 2023. The CIB provided input to this process via a submission that outlines how we work, the results we have achieved and what the future looks like in each of the priority sectors that the government has identified for CIB action. We welcome the report and the opportunity to continue working with stakeholders to advance infrastructure investments to deliver important outcomes for Canadians.
Reports
We’re accountable to Parliament through the Ministry of Intergovernmental Affairs, Infrastructure and Communities. We report to the public and to Parliament on all of our operations, including quarterly financial reporting and an Annual Report, Public Meeting and Corporate Plan.

Transparency
We provide proactive disclosure of information for accountability to Canadians and Parliament, through Info Source. This document provides relevant information about the functions, programs, activities and related information holdings of government institutions subject to the Access to Information Act and the Privacy Act.
The Access to Information Act governs access to information contained in federal government records. This means that Canadian citizens, permanent residents, persons present in Canada, or corporations can, formally or informally, request records under the control of Canada Infrastructure Bank.

The objective of the meeting is to provide information on CIB’s mandate, activities, results and plans for the future.

The Canada Infrastructure Bank (CIB) Annual Public Meeting occurred on April 23, 2021 and included of a set of pre-recorded remarks by Chair Tamara Vrooman and CEO Ehren Cory, as well as a Question and Answer session.
The Annual Public Meeting (APM) is in addition to the many ways that the CIB proactively engages with stakeholders on a regular basis. The CIB is focused on making impactful investments in priority sectors – clean power, broadband, green infrastructure, trade and transportation and transit. Action on the Growth Plan is accelerating including recent project announcements. For additional information, stakeholders may wish to review the corporate plan and annual report located above.
The Canada Infrastructure Bank (CIB) held its Annual Public Meeting (APM) on January 23, 2020 at 1 p.m. Eastern Time (ET).
Canada Infrastructure Bank held its first annual public meeting on November 8, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. (Eastern time).
Note: The Quarterly Financial Report Q1 F2022-23 is the first quarterly report to include financial statements in accordance with PSAS. A full explanation of this change will be provided in our Annual Report, also reported in accordance with PSAS, to be issued this fall.
